First and ongoing treatment - having a good time (entertainment mostly provided by the dogs...) thanks to the smiles below from Lucy, Claudia, Pablo and Shadow. Dogs just know how to have a good life!
Here's the Second part of my treatment, which is more specifically related to cancer than purely having a good life..
It's focused on reversing the conditions in which the cancer grows. The theory is really simple. Cancer (all types) grows in an acidic, oxygen starved environment. Normal healthy cells can no longer stay alive, so the body's last survival strategy is to convert them to sugar eating cells. Sugar, of course, is in abundance in these circumstances.
So how do we do this? Alkalize and oxidise the body. From a simple theory comes the action plan where I have to do the work and it's not so simple ;)
There's a heck of a lot of undoing and cleaning out before the good stuff can really begin to make a difference.
I read a great analogy of the body with cancer. Take a lovely china cup. Look inside to find cigarette stubs, a rotten apple butt and some rancid meat. Then fill it with some pure distilled water. The china cup is still perfect and once cleaned of the waste, can supply pure water again.
The cleaning of the cup, however, takes time, energy and real perseverance. The biggest obstacle I find is that I can't physically see the problems. Looking into the cup to find disgusting waste is the best incentive to cleaning out! It's very hard to change all my lifestyle habits overnight, even when I know there's a tumour that will continue to grow and spread throughout my body, unless I take action and consistently do the right thing.
That's why it's vital to have expert support, rather than attempt it alone. Even supporting the immune system alongside chemotherapy treatment is a fantastic idea and it's best to get a treatment plan that is achievable and has a time frame. This certainly works for me because doing anything where I can't see instant gratification is difficult! I never had a great social life but seeing a lifetime ahead of me doing green juices & liver cleanses will not have me jumping out of bed in the morning! It brings new meaning to having green fingers!!
My general plan of action in Holistic Healing; Mind, Body, Spirit
The Body Part 1 is broken down into revitalising my immune system & liver and clearing toxins. This for me will take approximately 4 months until end of December. (There may be a few stray days where I apologise in advance to the powers that be, but I have no intention of swilling green juice instead of the slap up Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and mince pies. I have all of January to rectify that decadence.)
So far my summary plan, which I'll go into detail another night - it's nearly time for bed..
Invigorate
Acupuncture
Massage/Reflexology
Revitalise
Vitamin C, supplements, digestive enzymes.
Cancer zappers - Apricot kernels
Circulation miracle - ProArgy
Cleanse
2 x Daily Coffee Enemas. 5 liver cleanses in total. (1 x week.)
5 day Bentonite clay detox.
1 pizza! (Just for a bit of naughtiness!)
Green juices, salads, lots of sprouted shoots, seaweed, some herbal tea.
No meat, wheat, dairy, sugar, stimulants etc. All the usual stuff we've been told to cut out... At least shopping doesn't take long. There's only about 7 things I can eat and they're all right beside each other in Tescos :))
There's so much to sniff when you're a dog!
Focus Jennifer!!
Body Part 2
Back to the plan.. Ah yes! I know why I got distracted. After December comes January. This is our favourite month of the year when we're all depressed. Well, guess what I'll be doing? Fasting!!!!!
I wish I lived in Australia ;)
I'll have a course of 3 day fasts followed by 1 protein meal throughout January. The fasting is to clear out trapped liquid and waste from the cells, correct the sodium/potassium imbalance & reabsorb all excess tissues; scar tissue, fat cells, tumours, cysts etc.
If I survive January, February will be a delightful month of protein only. I may be having porridge for breakfast but I'm not sure yet. Dinner however will be a piece of meat or fish. Short and sweet! That'll really confuse the Tescos online ordering system. I'll look like some extreme vegetarian who's gone on a complete rampage. Gimme more meat!!
The protein is to regenerate my tissue and rebuild cells. With the toxins gone, I can create healthy tissue and have proper communication between all my systems.
Mind
Education, Research, Surround myself with positive, supportive people.
This is really important for me because a lot of folk are scared with my choice of treatment. Chemotherapy is the only way most people have heard about and even though success is not guaranteed, there is so much fear about cancer and death, that they would prefer me to take my chances using drugs. The more I research about chemotherapy the more I feel that it is a total assault on an already sick body.
Self Development work - Disease is not only physical ailment but much of it can be related to emotional wellbeing. Stress, anger and fear all play havoc with our insides so clearing this out is just as important as the food and other therapies that I'm being treated with.
Meditation - I do my own moving meditation in the mornings, although I don't know where I find the time these days with all of this rigmarole.
(I'll update more info below really soon but I need to sleep now...)
